# Input Distance Definition

Introduction for input distance definition:

Distance is the numerical value which represents how far the objects are. Also, the distance is denoted as the length between the two objects.

Distance is calculated by the following formula

Distance = speed `xx` time

Here, speed and time are inputs to find the distance.  If distance and time are inputs, we will find speed. If distance and speed are inputs, we will find time.
Examples for Input Distance Definition:

Example 1:

A car goes at 50 kmph for 8 hours. Calculate the distance travelled by the care using input distance definition.

Solution:

Speed = 50kmph

Time = 8 hours

Distance = Speed `xx` Time

Distance = 50 `xx` 8

Distance = 400

Therefore, distance travelled by the car is 400km

Example 2:

A car goes at 80 kmph for 480 kms. Calculate the travelled time of the care using input distance definition.

Solution:

Speed = 80 kmph

Distance = 480 kms

Distance = Time `xx` Speed

`"Distance"/"Speed"` = Time or

Time = `"Distance"/"Speed"`

Time = `480/80`

Time = 8 hours

Therefore, the car will take 8 hour to reach 480km at 80 kmph speed

Example 3:

A car reaches at 490 km by 7 hours travel Calculate the speed of travelling of the care using input distance definition.

Solution:

Distance = 490 km

Time = 7 hours

Distance = Speed `xx` Time

Therefore, Speed = `"Distance"/"Time"`

Speed = `490/7`

Speed = 70 kmph

Therefore, the car will take 70 kmph of speed to reach 490 km of distance in 7 hours.

Problem 1:

A car goes at 40 kmph for 4 hours. Calculate the distance travelled by the care using input distance definition.

Distance travelled by the car is 192km

Problem 2:
